About CollegeMatrix.com

CollegeMatrix.com was born of a meeting with local Colleges and Universities and CareerMatrix.com staff in April of 2002. The discussion targeted what the staff wanted in a perfect online Career Center for their students. The main goal was to resolve problems they had experienced with some large national providers. One major concern also to be addressed was to create a system that would allow regional colleges, employers and students to share employment information locally.

After significant discussion and development, Grand Rapids Community College was the first to use the system in August of 2004. We have continually added new features and listened to users and added new reports, made changes to usability and in general improved the product significantly.

CollegeMatrix.com is a DBA of netOptions, LLC a Michigan based company. The Career Center uses the CareerMatrix.com job board for it robust back end database. By merging the two systems, colleges have immediate access to the large local following of CareerMatrix.com member employers.
